As soon as we saw the Traveler Sweater by Andrea Mowry, we absolutely fell in love with it. Then once we knit it, we knew we had to teach a class for it. Knit from the bottom up, the Traveler sweater has an intuitive, easy to memorize knit/purl stitch pattern that keeps your knitting interesting, but you don't have to think too much about. There are options to make this as a hoodie or crew neck and we will talk about adding length if a crop isn’t your vibe.
We recommend this class for anyone who wants to make their first sweater, wants to learn how to make a bottom up sweater, or wants to try making a sweater on a timeline. In this class we will talk about sizing/fit, gauge, and construction. There are larger gaps between some class sessions to give you adequate time to knit to a specific point in the pattern. For some, this may be a demanding timeline, but we are here to support and encourage you to challenge yourself all along the way.
